Mao Hamasaki

She made her AV debut in June 2012 on a Prestige-affiliated video streaming site and worked as an exclusive actress until March 2013.

After appearing in Soft On Demand for a limited time starting in July 2013, she worked as a solo actress from October of the same year until her retirement from AV.

In 2016, she was nominated for Best Actress and Best Picture at the 2016 SKY PerfecTV! Adult Broadcasting Awards.

In 2017, she began working as a music DJ under the name “DJ MAO,” participating in events overseas in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, and other locations.

In November 2018, she was nominated for Best Actress at the 2019 SKY PerfecTV! Adult Broadcasting Awards.

In October 2020, she placed second in GEO TV’s “Survey on AV Actresses Whose Moaning Voices Are the Sexiest.” She ranked 38th in the reader poll for “FLASH 2020’s Top 100 Most Sexy Active Actresses,” announced in December of the same year.

In February 2021, she ranked first in GEO TV’s “Which AV Actress Would You Like to Receive Valentine’s Chocolate? Survey.” She ranked 25th in Asahi Geino’s “2021 Active AV Actress Sexy General Election,” announced in April 2021.

On November 30, 2021, she was nominated by Cherry Bomb as the Valuable Actress of Cherry Bomb at the SKY PerfecTV! Adult Broadcasting Awards.

Her April 2022 release, “Getting Instant Sex with Beautiful Women Who Instinctually Seek Pleasure: Picking Up Girls in Swimsuits – A Midsummer Gal Fuck Fest!!,” ranked first in the FANZA video floor rankings for the week of April 11, 2022.

In the FANZA Mail Order Floor Rankings for the week of November 13, 2023, “My House Was Occupied by Two Sexually Deranged Monster Girls Who Live in the Same Apartment and Had Crazy Sex From Morning to Night: Mao Hamasaki and Sakura Mita” (Tsubakihoin) debuted at 5th place. She also ranked 8th in the FANZA Video Floor actress rankings for November of the same year. She maintained her 8th place ranking in the December actress rankings.

She was appointed campaign girl for FANZA’s “I LOVE AV♡” campaign, held from January 19 to February 16, 2024, along with Matsumoto Ichika, Nanase Alice, Miru, Mitani Akane, Adachi Yuri, and Yamagishi Ayaka. She ranked 8th in the FANZA Video Floor monthly AV actress rankings for January 2024.

In the FANZA mail order floor rankings for the 12th week of February of the same year, her appearance in “MOODYZ Fan Appreciation Festival: Bang Bang Bus Tour 2024 AV Actor Discovery & Training Special!! A 2-Day, 1-Night Orgy Tour with 16 Amateurs Aspiring to Be AV Actors and 16 AV Actresses!” debuted at number one.

In the “2024 Active AV Actress Sexy General Election” announced in Asahi Geino, released in April 2024, she ranked 21st overall (40th in Tokyo and 8th in Osaka).

She ranked 9th in the FANZA Video Floor monthly AV actress rankings for June 2024.

On August 9, 2024, at the TAE event held in Taiwan, she announced her retirement, putting an end to her 13-year career, and that same afternoon she again announced her retirement to her Japanese fans on social media.

On September 18 of the same year, she announced on Instagram that her contract with her agency, Fanstar Promotion, had ended.

On February 8th and 9th, 2025, she was invited to participate in the “TOP Goddess Taipei Thanksgiving” held in Taiwan.

On the week of February 17th, 2025, her retirement work “Introducing My Chinshabu Girlfriend. Mao Hamasaki Final” (h.m.p.) debuted at number one on the FANZA online shopping page.

That same year, she appeared on the Hong Kong online show “The Vengeful Girls Club.” She cited the difficulty of drinking up to 10 liters of water to squirt (and prevent dehydration), which many actresses suffer from, as well as cystitis and water intoxication, and that she wanted to quit before she got sick. She also cited the decisive incident in 2024 when her agency made a mistake with her airline tickets, which caused a breakdown in their relationship of trust.
