Mary Tachibana announced her retirement

I’ve been able to work as an actress for the past 11 years thanks to all of you who have supported me. Thank you so much.

Looking back over the past 11 years, I started out as a freelance actress, and things didn’t go well at first, I lost a lot of opportunities, and there were times when I stumbled over and over again.

But thanks to everyone’s support, my dreams have come true one by one, and at the milestone of my 10th anniversary last year, I became an exclusive actress for Madonna and Das!, published my first photobook, and had the opportunity to do various music activities.

I owe it to everyone who has supported me at all times to be able to shine in so many different places.

I think I could have continued as an actress, but after 12 years, I’ve decided to take the next step.

Even though I decided to announce my retirement on this auspicious anniversary, I felt lonely and blue with it coming up…

I made this decision because I wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who supports me during this remaining year.

There is still plenty of time to meet!

Starting tomorrow, I have a fan meeting in Hong Kong, a DVD signing event in Akihabara, and an anniversary offline meetup are also scheduled◡̈*

And although I will retire as an AV actress, I plan to continue my music activities and other media work after retirement☻

In the remaining year, I want to produce works that will give you a lot of healing as an “AV actress”, and I will create many opportunities to meet you all at events!
