Ai Hongo official retirement

With the upcoming film release, Ai Hongo’s AV journey draws to a close: this final movie will stand as the official capstone to her porn career.

Almost six months after her last release with S1, Ai Hongo’s next movie will be a retirement title. There are no new scenes, as it is a 15-hour “best of” compilation. However, this confirms that she will not be releasing new content.

Hongo made her AV debut as a college student on March 6, 2020, under the name “Yume Nikaido.” She changed her stage name to “Ai Hongo” after transferring to a new agency on November 28, 2021. After working exclusively for Faleno, she will now conclude her career as an S1 exclusive actress.

In 2024, she and her agency decided to temporarily halt her activities after her affair with a streamer/YouTuber went viral. On 12 September 2024, she was photographed in the front-row seats at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles with Junichi Kato, also known as Unko-chan.

Kato admitted on a Twitch stream the next day that he had gone on a trip with Hongo to see Shohei Ohtani play, but explained that it was done with his wife’s knowledge and permission, maintaining that he did not have sexual relations with Hongo. Kato’s wife, Sachiko, appeared on stream and corroborated the story, saying that she trusts him.

Hongo released a video on YouTube on September 15 admitting that she and Kato had been dating. She said Kato had told her he had divorced his wife, and therefore she did not know she was involved in an affair. Kato then confessed that he had been cheating and that he did it “because [he] wanted to.” He and his wife had been living separately but were not divorced at the time of the affair.
