Haruna Kojima Shines in Daring Swimsuit Photos at 37

The former music idol Haruna Kojima continues to impress at 37, as shown in a recent photo shoot that highlights her effortless confidence. Wearing a sleek, figure-hugging black swimsuit, she shows off a toned silhouette, flat midsection, and long, slender legs—proving her timeless appeal is very much intact.
Kojiharu, as she’s affectionately known—celebrates her 38th birthday this April and remains one of Japan’s most captivating jukujo, often mentioned in the same breath as Sayaka Isoyama and Kyoko Fukada.
Hailing from Saitama, she was part of AKB48 during its formative years, a time when the idol juggernaut dominated pop culture and launched multiple household names. Active in the group from 2005 until 2017, she later transitioned into fashion modeling and went on to launch her own clothing label. While she has since sold a controlling stake in Her Lip To—earning a sizable return, she continues to play an active role in guiding the brand.
Although she has built a successful career as an entrepreneur, Kojiharu has never completely stepped away from gravure. On the contrary, she still participates in regular photo shoots, including semi-nude ones, delighting fans who have followed her since her AKB48 days. (It also keeps her in the public eye, which in turn helps promote her brand—originally established largely thanks to her fame.)
Skeptics might argue that looking this good at nearly 38 is hardly surprising. Kojiharu has time and resources on her side—and perhaps most significantly, no children. Without the physical toll of pregnancy and the ongoing demands of parenthood, it’s easier to maintain both appearance and vitality compared with many women of the same age.

Whatever the secret behind her youthful looks and toned figure, we can only hope she continues to do shoots like these, demonstrating that age is no barrier to a thriving modeling career.
